ความหมายและการใช้งาน

คุณสมบัติ nodeType ส่งคืนประเภทโหนดเป็นตัวเลขของโหนดที่ระบุ

หากโหนดเป็นโหนดองค์ประกอบ คุณสมบัติ nodeType จะคืนค่า 1

หากโหนดเป็นโหนดแอตทริบิวต์ คุณสมบัติ nodeType จะส่งกลับ 2

หากโหนดเป็นโหนดข้อความ คุณสมบัติ nodeType จะส่งกลับ 3

หากโหนดเป็นโหนดความคิดเห็น คุณสมบัติ nodeType จะส่งกลับ 8

ประเภทโหนด

เอกสาร องค์ประกอบ คุณลักษณะ และลักษณะอื่นๆ ของเอกสาร HTML หรือ XML มีประเภทโหนดต่างกัน

โหนดมี 12 ประเภทที่แตกต่างกัน ซึ่งอาจมีลูกของโหนดหลายประเภท:
