วัตถุคำสั่ง
ออบเจ็กต์คำสั่ง ADO ใช้เพื่อดำเนินการแบบสอบถามเดียวกับฐานข้อมูล คิวรีสามารถดำเนินการต่างๆ เช่น การสร้าง การเพิ่ม การเรียก การลบ หรือการอัปเดตเรกคอร์ด
ถ้าแบบสอบถามถูกใช้เพื่อดึงข้อมูล ข้อมูลจะถูกส่งกลับเป็นวัตถุ RecordSet ซึ่งหมายความว่าข้อมูลที่ดึงมาสามารถจัดการได้โดยคุณสมบัติ คอลเลกชั่น เมธอด และเหตุการณ์ของอ็อบเจ็กต์ Recordset
คุณสมบัติหลักของอ็อบเจ็กต์ Command คือความสามารถในการใช้คิวรีและโพรซีเดอร์ที่เก็บไว้พร้อมพารามิเตอร์
